The Giants have a recipe to win. It's a proven recipe, we've all seen it work. Pitching, timely hitting, pitching, a lucky bounce, more pitching, a dash of defense, a pinch of magic, & mix in some more pitching. Seems like a strong, reliable plan you can always count on right? In my opinion it does.
I think it's the right move for Neukom & Sabean to try to lock up Tim Lincecum & Matt Cain with long term deals. The 3 aces on the starting staff, including stud lefty Madison Bumgarner, along with a still lights out bullpen & closer, are the stick that stirs this Giants stew. I know a lot of you are sick of the torture & sick of the 2-1 & 1-0 mini heart attacks every night. But person as lly, that's the way I like it. It gives the team character & keeps everyone sharp & on their toes the whole game. It also gets the team to rally around eachother & gell as one. That's the key to "winning" baseball.
So was Melky Cabrera & Angel Pagan enough for you to get excited about this off-season? Well it better be, because that's likely all your gonna get for now. Of course, getting Buster Posey & Freddy Sanchez back won't hurt a bit either. Have a little faith Giants fans, I think when it's all said & done, the final result will leave you with a great taste in your mouth.
